Thanksgiving

It is been a super busy week, and I am finally getting around to posting. Thursday was my big Thanksgiving dinner at the apartment. Andrew was a big help and we made mac n cheese, friend okra, turkey, sweet potatoes and apples, and pea salad. We had 9 people over. Miriam and David were the couple i stayed with when i first got here. Riona and Jessica are Irish scholars leaving to go abroad next fall. Amit, an Indian/Irish guy in charge of Roteract in Dublin, Mytchio a scholar from Japan (she brought sushi and it was sooo good) and Maggie she goes to Georgetown and i met her in the immigration office (we have lunch every friday). So, as you can see there was quite a crowd in the little apartment, but it was alot of fun. My Irish friends had never had MacnCheese and pretty much everyone had never had okra before. It was great fun, and fun to get people together like that, especially on Thanksgiving.
